When planning the layout for your office, you will likely take a close look at the various elements within the space which you are designing. But often overlooked elements of designing any space are the cohesiveness of the space with the adjacent spaces, the transitions between one area to the next and the various viewpoints into the location. When designing the reception area in the image above, we considered the transition between the reception, hallway, and connecting office spaces. To keep the design aesthetic cohesive, we considered existing current spacial and aesthetic elements and created pleasant, interesting viewpoints into the reception area. Some examples of this are the smooth transitions between the spaces, interesting focal points, and "Framing" to accentuate the newly designed reception area.
